Let’s take a break from the Russian grammar and learn some new vocabulary today. This lesson is dedicated to the useful Russian words and phrases related to the Internet.

Vocabulary:

интерне́т-кафе́ – internet-cafe

до́ступ – access

логи́н – login

паро́ль – password

вы́йти в интерне́т – to get access to the internet, to go online

сиде́ть в интерне́те – to be online

электро́нная по́чта – email

сообще́ние – message

письмо́ – message/letter

прове́рить по́чту – to check the email

получи́ть письмо́ – to receive the message

отпра́вить пи́сьмо – to send the message

вы́слать по по́чте – to send by email

чат – chat

обща́ться в ча́те – to chat

I need to go online for a few minutes.

While there is nothing to do, I’ll go online for an hour.

Tell me your email address.

Я могу́ вы́слать тебе́ э́то по электро́нной по́чте?
Can I send it to you by email?

I have more than 20 unread messages in my inbox.

Check your email, I sent all the necessary information to you yesterday.
