022 – Russian numbers from 1 to 10

The numbers are probably the most unfavorite part of Russian grammar for every language student. This is why we decided to take on them little by little and break all the Russian numbers into a few lessons.

Today we will learn to count from 1 to 10 in Russian. Let’s get started!

1 – оди́н [a-déen]
2 – два [dva]
3 – три [trée]
4 – четы́ре [chee-tý-rye]
5 – пять [pyat’]
6 – шесть [shest’]
7 – семь [sem’]
8 – во́семь [vó-seem’]
9 – де́вять [dyé-veet’]
10 – де́сять [dyé-seet’]

To practice the Russian numbers, listen to the audio and repeat after me.
